This firm was created by Rudy Gibilante and Laurie Peterson -- two professionals with different types of expertise. Our goal is to provide the finest all around customer satisfaction & excellence. Our mission is to provide information, service and product solutions. "It all adds up to the AFS difference." Rudy has 20 years of experience. Prior to creating this firm, he spent the last 10 years as Vice President of Operations for two large Steelcase furniture dealerships. Among his many responsibilities were managing the receiving, shipping services, move services, installation, project management, and inventory control functions. Rudy also spent time as an Operations Field Supervisor for A. Pomerantz & Co., where he handled & directed the activities, productivity, and performance of the crews on large projects. He attended construction/project meetings prior to delivery for the purpose of developing a project schedule and to meet with electrical/cable contractors. Over the years, Rudy has worked effectively in close collaboration with client's department heads and corporate officers, as well as with contractors for installation in new construction. His expertise is in logistics and making sure from the installation end your project goes as planned. With 15 years of experience, Laurie has spent most of her career working with end-users, facility managers and A & D Professionals in planning, specification and execution of office furnishings. She has performed office system needs analyses at prospective customer sites and opened, managed and built long term account relationships. As a Sales Associate with Valentines Inc. she spent 5 years focusing on specialized furnishings for the healthcare environment. As the Sales Manager for New Business Development at Corporate Interiors, she trained and coached others on the process of planning and providing for the products and services available for the changing office environment. |
